Police: Wendy's (COPS) robber had PCP, marijuana, alcohol in system

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Maggie O'Brien

The gunman in a fatal robbery attempt that killed a "Cops" TV show crew member in August had alcohol, marijuana and PCP in his system at the time of his death, Omaha police said Friday.

Toxicology reports showed that Cortez Washington, 32, had "a very high level" of Phencyclidine, or PCP. It's known on the street as angel dust.

Washington was shot to death by police Aug. 26 at Wendy's, 4308 Dodge St. An audio technician for the show "Cops, " Bryce D. Dion, was caught in the crossfire and was killed by police gunfire.

Officers Darren Cunningham, Brooks Riley and Jason Wilhelm were the officers involved. As in all officer-involved shootings, a Douglas County grand jury will consider the case.

He got busted shortly after, for molesting a boy.

Gets out of jail, goes right back to trying to molest more kids.

PCP and Violence

Despite its reputation in the media as a drug that causes bizarrely violent behavior and gives users superhuman strength, research does not support the idea that PCP itself is the cause of such behavior and strength. Instead, those who experience violent outbursts while under the influence of PCP often have a history of psychosis or antisocial behavior that may or may not be related to their drug abuse.27 Additionally, someone under the influence of PCP is often unaware of the dangers and limitations they face, and may react to physical confrontations in a way that makes it seem as though they have extraordinary muscular strength.28

Alcohol, Violence, and Aggression
Scientists and nonscientists alike have long recognized a two-way association between alcohol consumption and violent or aggressive behavior (1). Not only may alcohol consumption promote aggressiveness, but victimization may lead to excessive alcohol consumption. Violence may be defined as behavior that intentionally inflicts, or attempts to inflict, physical harm. Violence falls within the broader category of aggression, which also includes behaviors that are threatening, hostile, or damaging in a nonphysical way (2). This Alcohol Alert explores the association between alcohol consumption, violence, and aggression and the role of the brain in regulating these behaviors. Understanding the nature of these associations is essential to breaking the cycle of alcohol misuse and violence.

order of the "mix" all wrong. The drug alcohol should be first, it mixes poorly with everything.

Including the human brain, it fucks it up by killing it. Literally, killing it.

PCP and grass, fucking nothing to do with the violence.

But mix with alcohol......boom goes the brain.

They take Ditch Weed, Lace it with PCP and sell it to Dolts that don't know better. The Poor most always get the crap.

And, by the way, It was the Police that shot the cameraman. The Perp didn't have a real firearm, so the drugs is really just a lame excuse to try and lay blame on the robber.

She said it looked and SOUNDED like a gun when he fired it. I blame the robber for turning the gun at officers and firing it. They didn't know at the time it wasn't real. It was in all the papers, TV, etc...
