8:45 p.m. update: Congressman Lee Terry held the early lead as election results started coming in Tuesday night.
The race pitting Terry and State Sen. Brad Ashford was among the closest and hardest fought of any House in the country, with both national political parties getting involved with millions of dollars of hard-hitting ads.

(2,132 posts)During sequester/shutdown, when many elected officials offered to go without pay, Terry said he couldn't do it, because he has a nice house and a kid in college.
I'm willing to bet the government employees at Stratcom haven't forgotten that, since they had trouble paying their mortgages and supporting their own kids during that timeframe.
I hope he loses.

Strange, because raising the minimum wage, a strong Democratic issue, is passing by a huge margin.
