Bill Cosby protesters plan to disrupt Hamilton show

Source: Canadian Broadcasting Company

A Hamilton writer is recruiting people to buy tickets to comedian Bill Cosby's upcoming performance in the city so they can disrupt the show inside the theatre.

Anne Bokma said "the numbers are growing every day" of people planning to join her for a non-violent protest during Cosby's Jan. 9 show at Hamilton Place Theatre.

Bokma said she's been contacted through her website by both people who want to join her by buying $90 tickets, and people who have tickets to the show who don't want to go anymore and are unable to get refunds. They're giving Bokma their tickets so she can distribute them to people prepared to be part of the protest.

"There will be an interruption," she said. "Exactly what we’re doing and how many people, I can't tip my hand."

I agree 100% with people protesting, but we still live in a country where people are innocent until proved guilty.

Failing that, people draw their own conclusions.

Do you also think that George Zimmerman was innocent, since a jury never found him guilty?

For the same reason I say Michael Brown is innocent since he was never proved guilty, I say the same here.

I can't understand why he doesn't cancel all the shows either as Cosby's case grows worse be the day.

I guess his operative assumption is that people who don't want to see his show won't come see it.

I mean, the weird aspect of this protest is that they are putting money in his pocket to get in.

That said, the business of Hollywood is also guilty of anything Cosby has done to women...this business enabled the behavior to continue for the sake of marketable profit. The women remained silent, in their pain at the time of the crimes...it was a choice to do so...not the best choice but the one they decided to make. The agency representing the women no doubt have dirty hands too.

Rosenberg definitely takes Camille Crosby to task for blaming the victims, rather than her husband's actions.

she too had been drugged and assaulted by Cosby.

You can also add to that number another 12 victims:

And, P.J. Masten, one of the two ex-bunnies who have publicly accused Cosby of sexual assault, told CNN's Alisyn Camerota that there are other women who have not come forward, or will not.

&quot There are) 12 former bunnies that I know of that are ashamed to come forward, frightened to come forward, married with families (and) don't want to come forward." Masten said. "But they were also drugged and raped by Bill Cosby."

http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/05/showbiz/bill-cosby-playboy-accusations/

So far that makes roughly 34 women who have been drugged and sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby.

Mr. Cosby is a predator, and he should face consequences for his assaults.

But not right to do in the show and ruin it for other paying customers. And silly to put money in his coffers to do so. Just protest outside. mho

Not sure why people would still want to see him, but same held for m.jackson.fandom trumps thinking.
