ISIS opens a consulate in Turkey for recruitment + Isis renting villas in Istanbul
* Turkish opinion on Erdogan and Isis
So much for Erdogans claim that he isnt supporting ISIS. According to the Turkish newspaper, Aydınlık, ISIS has opened a consulate in Ankara, Turkey in order to issue visas to those who want to join ISIS and fight in Iraq.
The Turkish ruling AKP government has apparently provided great conveniences to the terrorist organization during negotiations to secure the return of 49 Turkish diplomats who were kidnapped in the Turkish Consulate of Mosul by ISIS terrorists.

ISIS Renting Villas in Istanbul
Security officials have claimed that Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant militants rent luxurious villas in major cities of Turkey.
A number of anonymous security officials have told Aydınlık Newspaper that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) is able to operate easily in major Turkish cities due to the ruling AKP governments tolerance towards the organization.
ISIS militants are so relaxed that they do not even cut their beards, change their clothes to hide their identities [in cities]. Of course, there are some who do. But organisers do not think that they need to hide themselves. They act as they wish in Istanbul, Konya, Gaziantep and Hatay.
Upon the question why the government does not do something about it, security officials responded: Militants operate either in police or gendarmerie areas. It is not possible that their operations are not within their knowledge. But the government does not order forces to do something. We hear some really astonishing things. The headquarters send orders to units. They say us not to stop or fine some cars. We have heard that some of these cars belong to ISIS militants. What do you expect the security forces to do then?
According to the officials, militants rent luxurious houses in some elite neighbourhoods of Istanbul. They especially prefer villas next to each other in complexes. They use one of those as an office, but nobody knows what they do in other villas. They also have women with them. For instance, they rent a lot of villas in the Kızılcahamam district of Ankara. Turkey is full of ISIS houses.

(39,332 posts)One person was injured on Sept. 26 after a group of jihadist sympathizers attacked students who had opened a stand at Istanbul University to denounce the brutality of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The masked attackers, who were filmed attacking with sticks studded with nails inside a foyer in one of the schools buildings, were allegedly affiliated to the Muslim Youth organization.
One student was apparently injured in the head by a soda bottle allegedly hurled by the attackers.
The assailants, three of whom were reportedly detained after the attack, also tore down a pancard that said ISIL, get out of the Middle East.
In response, hundreds of students began staging a counterprotest against the pro-ISIL assault in front of the university's science faculty.
Students at the university issued a press statement after the attack, saying, "As university students, we had come together to stop the murderers with blood on their hands and the ISIL gang, which has murdered children and raped women in Rojava and Kobane, when a 20-person group sporting black masks attacked us with sticks studded with nails."
The students also accused university security and the police of doing nothing to halt the attack. "We know where they get their power from. The AKP [ruling Justice and Development Party] is sending truckloads of guns to the ISIL gangs to murder people in Rojava, and if it is providing all manners of support to those committing massacres, then this attack cannot be separated from the AKP's policies."
