Steve Scalise

Scalise represents a district that includes Plaquemine Parish in Louisiana. If you want to know the values of the citizens in this Parish, Google Leander Perez. Perez ruled this Parish until his death in 1969. He was a segregationist and supported Strom Thurmond, George Wallace, and others of like mind.

So, anyone who thinks Scalise didn't know the group he wasn't speaking to just research Perez.

could get elected easier with the Duke background. David Duke did get 44% of the votes for Governor back in early 90s. So the people of LA must be racist. I think Jindal supports Duke too.
David Duke has indicated today he will release names of those that supported him or ask for his support if Steve does not get voted in as majority leader in the house.
