(2,382 posts)... This cartoon puts words in the mouths of the Koch brothers that I doubt they have never uttered. Though they haven't made any public statements acknowledging their Machiavellian machinations to discredit and undermine the science supporting climate change by funding individuals and groups that deny the validity of said science, they are far too intelligent to actually believe the bullshit they sell.

(21,024 posts)We have proof of their avarice. We have proof of their social ambition and will to power. Proof of intelligence? Not so much. Great cartoon!

(41,171 posts)politicians, there were two billionaire backers in it, the "Motch brothers" (Dan Aykroyd, John Lithgow) who resembled the Kochs. Clever, funny film.

(2,382 posts)... that my cartoon aroused the ire of some conservative troll (#18, Message Auto-Removed) who thinks the spawn of Fred Koch, Sr. are really swell guys. I just happen to disagree.
And while I greatly appreciate MIRT's vigilance, I would have been curious to see what he/she/it had to say in defense of rapacious corporatism and the complete corruption of our electoral system by soulless psychopaths - excuse me... "moneyed interests," like Chuck and Davey Koch, Shelley Adelson, and the Weasels of Wall Street. I'm sure that the epithet, "libtard," is an oft-repeated part of his severely limited vocabulary.
As FDR said of his conservative antagonists, "I welcome their hate!"
