into volunteer recruiters. We must put supporters to work and we must focus on turning out voters for the democratic primary. We must develop the community teams we need, put action into our organization, take advantage of the tremendous goodwill toward Berniie based on his message. We have to remember Bernie is us and if we let down Bernie, we are letting down ourselves. It is as he says not about him, It is about us and our need to take our country back from the billionaires and millionaires who buy our government in order to increase their wealth.
Bernie correctly states enough is enough, you billionaires cannot have everything. It is not jealousy when we say that. It is recognition of the destruction unbridled capitalist greed has caused in our country. We see our work hours increased and our pay decreased. We see our ability to spend time raising our children depleted by more work and more jobs and the difficult schedules they bring. We see companies move jobs to right to work states to depress wages and increase profits. We see Governors like Kasich and Walker, favorites of the billionaire class, work diligently to destroy unions and underfund public education. We see racism in our so called justice system creating fear and division and then providing our tax dollars to for profit prisons. We see sexism and racism and bravado nationalism and blaming the victim running rampant and we know who benefits from it.
We will no longer spend time asking why poor white people vote against their own best interest. We know they are guided by racist,sexist,and nationalistic appeals to their insecure egos. We no longer will spend time asking what causes racism, sexism, bravado nationalism and get in return a listing of what allows it to work. This may make our psychologists feel good but it is not the question we ask. Racism and sexism and bravado nationalism instead we ask who benefits from it and we know it is the necessary method political hacks who work for the billionaires must employ to keep us divided and the vast majority of of the fruits of our labor going into their pockets.
But lets be honest- are we not all poorer now and isn't the middle class gone if it ever really existed. We are all working people and calling ourselves middle class may just hide our own insecurity preventing us from recognizing we are all (at least 98 percent) of us working people, the class that fights and dies in the wars while the rich stir the pot, the class that fights in the streets when the rich stir the pot, the class that fights in the bedrooms while the rich stir the pot. Oh what a tasty brew they stir full of hate and venom. but we will overcome this by removing their control over the pot. Enough is enough!
