Fire Debbie Wasserman Schultz

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/miles-mogulescu/fire-debbie-wasserman-sch_b_8841576.html

"It's increasingly clear that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, isn't acting as a neutral party Chair, trying to insure a fair and democratic primary and building the Democratic Party in the states.

Rather, she's acting as a shill for Hillary Clinton, doing everything in her power to ensure that no one will effectively challenge Hillary's coronation as the nominee.

Wasserman Schultz is committing political malpractice and should be removed."........

....."No matter. Wasserman Schultz crippled the Sanders campaign and virtually invited the press to question Sanders' honesty and integrity at Saturday's Democratic debate. Few doubt that Sanders is one of the most honest politicians in the nation. But Wasserman Schultz managed to pour dirt over him.".....

...."So far, more than 68 million viewers have watched the Republican debates while less than 24 million people have watched the Democratic debates.

Wasserman Schultz may think she's protecting Hillary by denying her Democratic opponents the chance to be seen by more voters. But whomever the Democratic nominee is, she's guaranteeing that during this primary season, far more people get to hear the Republican message than the Democratic message. The Republicans have used the debates to ramp up the fear factor in the American public, which is likely to help them in the general election, even as the Democrats have largely remained on the sidelines and Obama's approval ratings have plummeted.".....

The kind of paranoia currently on display at the head of the Democratic party closely resembles the Republican campaign that put GWB into office. Open hostility towards any but the preferred candidate before the primary, loyalty pledges, vicious partisan attacks, swift boating fellow party members, and a rat-fucking program lead by David Brock.

They have managed to do what the Republicans never could by alienating traditional Democratic voters at a time when we need every vote that hasn't been gerrymandered, contested, challenged, denied, or just plain stolen.

It is one thing when an individual candidate acts this way. It is entirely another when the whole party leadership abuses the voter's trust by strangling discussion of important issues within the party and scuttling the chances for down line state and local party races.

I regret to say it may be too late and that DWS leaving the head of the party would not repair the damage done. But I fear it may be so. I'm seeing that kind of damage locally.

I'm afraid your contentions are correct. I don't know that a change of leadership would be a real boon at this point. The current leader has undoubtedly assembled a corps as slanted as she is. That would mean building a whole new organization - a daunting task.

I think the best we can hope for is to upset the spin of the opposition's top. IF we can induce enough wobble, we can have a chance at SOME kind of a leveled playing field - a field where our candidate has a chance at winning - a match-up where the opposition isn't the one in control of the scorecards.

ANYTHING from her today? Why did she open up access again? What changed her mind? Why no press conference with questions? Will Bernie's team be allowed to research the audit trails? What were the actual results of the so called 24 hits? Who copied the data?

This is what was posted today:
We are extremely pleased that the DNC has reversed its outrageous decision to take Sen. Sanders’ data. The information we provided tonight is essentially the same information we already sent them by email on Thursday,” said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.

Well, that's all fine and dandy. With such a big story here, dominating the news yesterday, wouldn't you think she would go back to the MSM to explain her actions? Noooooooooooooooooo.... She' such a weasel and a snake in the grass. Democracy? Not with her in charge. And this is more proof that the DNC, MSM, and the 1% are in cahoots. This smells big time of corruption.

That there would be an "independent investigation" before the Sanders campaign would be granted access again. Maybe my powers of perception are askew, but I just don't see an independent investigation being assembled and instituted with light speed. Wha - they had an "independent investigator team" on standby???

Nah - the lawsuit (which I pray will proceed) and the pressure of petitions moved the iron-hearted chairwoman to change course - realizing she'd steered her vessel towards the waterfall's edge.
