The overarching impacts of the proposed treaty would be to weaken the Canadian public health care system, undermine health regulation, and obstruct efforts to renew and expand public health care in the face of new challenges.

also, "facing facts" is quite good..

They are both about GATS - the first one is about GATS and Canadian heath care.. "Facing facts" is on the CCPA (policy alternatives) site..

Also, - this paper on FTAs and health care reform - how they block most of what needs to be done! - in the USA is a must read..
