GATS Primer Understanding the WTO General Agreement on Trade in Services
20 years in the making, negotiations on big parts of GATS have collapsed many times over various aspects of progressive liberalisation. Obama and our next President - two presidents have five more years to get the global services trading going in earnest, lowering the prices of services and wages and increasing profits.
