A motivated, but small, base is all that is needed to block government action by a Democratic President.

Without ever having any intention of actually delivering on it. It was a massive tease.

They baited a rabid dog and now it has bitten their hand.
Now it's time to take the needle like big boys, and then put the dog down...but of course they don't want to.

The GOP needs to denounce, once and forever the Southern Strategy that got them here, and every kind of uneducated, backwards-assed belief system that comes with it or they will die as a National Party. Its the only way out now. They know it. They don't want to. Fuck them then.

And for the record, I don't need the Wall Street Journal to tell me these things. Neither does the GOP.
