Southern heritage needs to find a new standard (LTTE)

... this flag has not been usurped by hate groups or had its original meaning stolen. From its very birth, the Confederate battle flag was a symbol of the Confederacy, which had slavery as one of its founding principles. The CSA Constitution has no less than five statements outlining that practice. The historical record is full of statements regarding the flags of the Confederacy as being banners emblematic of the heaven-ordained supremacy of the white man over the inferior or colored race or, more to the point, such a flag would be a suitable emblem of our young confederacy ... it would soon take rank among the proudest ensigns of the nations and be hailed by the civilized world as the white mans flag.
I would suggest either getting used to terms like racist, redneck and cracker or get a new standard that represents Southern heritage ...
