...they just want to make sure they use him to their best abilities before it happens... that, and they want to make sure they can hang all the soon-to-be extremely unpopular actions and deeds firmly around his neck. They still want to get re-elected to their cushy Congressional positions. No sense facing angry constituents when you have a readily available CHUMP LIKE TRUMP* available to take the fall.

Democratic politicians need to wrap Twitler around the repubs necks and let them sink together. If they believe we will assume any responsibility for this goat rope they won't do anything. They need to know they own this, lock, stock, and barrel.

the GOP will backstab them. This has been the GOP's past behavior.

I momentarily did not think this all of the way through. But it is the GOP that is propping up Donald Trump's illegal actions. Everything from owning businesses and sending government contracts to them to now torture.
