There's one rule in war that should be painfully obvious at this point for the US now as well. If it can go wrong it probably will. Yes we've had successes (Bin Laden etc) that proves it can go right, but for every one thing that went right there are dozens of things that went wrong. Remember it might last 6 days, 6 weeks, certainly not 6 months.... It's a war that's still not over almost a decade later.

I've been on the hedge about the US over the last decade. If we bomb Iran, especially with Obama in power when EVERY US intelligence agency is saying they don't have a nuke program, then I'm out of here. I'm not sure which country will accept me legally or even which direction I would go, but I would be done with the US upon the bombing of Iran.

Wasn't Iraq supposed to be a 2 month war? And look how that played out.

Iran wouldn't be an in/out mission. It would be a war that would be longer and deadlier than perhaps even the Iraq debacle.

...eliminate the "social safety net" so there is more money for war and more tax cuts for the rich. Small government, my ass! This is Big Brother Government of the worst kind.
