his investigation"Robert Mueller has attacked the news media, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, for reporting "inaccurately" on the Russia investigation.
The rebuke came in a court filing Thursday, which asked a judge to issue a 19-page questionnaire to potential jurors in the special counsel's coming trial in Virginia against Paul Manafort.

Mueller is preparing to face Manafort in a Virginia court on July 25 and wants to ensure that jurors aren't biased by things they've read in the media before the trial begins.
In a footnote, the special counsel singled out two stories in The New York Times and The Washington Post last year, which indicated Mueller's office had conducted "no-knock" raids of Manafort's house.

On Edit PS; I agree with the posters below in regards to the title of the article using overblown language.

(115,735 posts)Business Insider is almost as bad as Raw Story when it comes to tendentious, overheated headlines.
It's just a quote from a judge, not Mueller's office, in a footnote, pointing out that the circumstances of executing the warrant were not reported accurately.

(764 posts)I have read that actual no knocks which are very rare occur BEFORE 5 am and this meeting at Manaforts house happened around 7 am. They knocked and were met cordially at the front door. The FBI then went in, even into his bedroom to gather documents and electronics. Then they left.
Judge is probably just trying to make it easier to seat a jury. Bet finding jury takes weeks maybe months. Looks like its going on ahead despite fall election, excellent. I am sure Don the con and Putin will not take a day off from trying to run the US gov into the ground so Putin can spend his money less restricted even though he has been removed from the G20 aa Putin is a dictator and Don wishes he was one.

(10,437 posts)the ignorance of the public on what that means is huge. A destable America, with no allies, or trade partners and a falling economy is all that is needed. Once we lose the reserve currency status, watch out below.

(10,437 posts)Trading platform to replace US dollarr as the currency basis for all international financial transactions, just saying lots going on we don't see reported on. Trump is the poison pill to destroy America in the eyes of the world. So far that mission is being accomplished very well, beyond Putins imagination.

(764 posts)Thanks for the reminder but I am still holding out hope that those who DO do business with the American dollar I hope they push tRump and Putin off the cliff by releasing facts like Trumps tax returns or some of the tapes Cohen made. I still think us US citizens will feel united against trump and Putin when the truth comes out but its getting harder.

(10,437 posts)country is going to help America once trump has destroyed all the established relationships....hell there will be a pile on. Once the dollar ceases to matter, we become like Venezuela with our economy and finances.
