Secret money funds more than 40% of outside congressional ads

Source: USA Today

WASHINGTON – Secret donors financed more than four out of every 10 television ads that outside groups broadcast this year to influence November’s high-stakes congressional elections, according to a USA TODAY analysis of Kantar Media data.

Leading the way: organizations affiliated with billionaire industrialist Charles Koch, whose conservative donor network plows hundreds of millions of dollars into politics and policy debates each election cycle.

Two Koch-affiliated groups account for more than one-quarter of the House and Senate advertising from groups that don’t disclose their donors, according to a tally of broadcast ads tracked by Kantar Media’s Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG).

Those Koch advocacy groups, Americans for Prosperity and Concerned Veterans for America, have trained their advertising fire on five Democratic senators up for re-election from red and purple states: Sens. Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jon Tester of Montana, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin.

Call these five Dem senators "your last line of defense against the Koch Bros, these billionaire, life long polluters of your air and water, enemies of your healthcare protections, your civil rights, womens rights, your voting rights, your social security, yourmedicare and your right to fair taxation.

Vote to throw out (or keep out) all the GOP Koch puppets! That should be the rallying cry. They totally control the American GOP govt now. Isn't it time to take back our government from these insatiable old billionaire corporate welfare kings & the Repug Party they own. Isn't it time to stop these greedy, hateful, mean old men, who've spent their lifetime buying up our government to emmiserate your life and rights and destroy the future of your children & grandchildren.

Trump is both the perfect shill and the perfect distraction towards the Koch Bros global petrochemical fascist state. .

I remember in 2008/2012 campaigns the Koch Bros candidates were so exposed by Dems that it became a GOP candidate artform to hide their Bros' support from public knowledge. Now the Koch Bros own the whole goddamn govt. Isn't it time to reeducate the public about who is pulling the strings if they continue to vote GOP and what these miserable old Fascists have already accomplished to destroy our country and our democracy?

Start calling every GOP candidate a Koch Bros Puppet. Right now. That's my advice to all Dems running against a GOP candidate anywhere. Because that GOP candidate is owned lock stock & barrel by the Koch Bros.
