I love seeing these great pics.

But I feel the most down when I see our current situation in the shadow of Obama.

What a decent and kind individual he was.

Man, how far we have fallen.

Happy Birthday Mr. President. My wish for you is that we can become the Country that deserved you.

As was already noted, kids trust the Obamas. They know what's what.

And even considering the self-selection of the pictures Pete Souza releases, notice how many people around President Obama are smiling? There was always hope and a sense of joy around him. Not like the fear and loathing of the people around Trump.
