What was Brett Kavanaugh's wife thinking? - Roy S. Johnson

Maybe they--Ashley and the women who steadfastly support Kavanaugh--believe him, which is their right.

Maybe they don't know any women like Dr. Ford.

I do--and I believe her. I believe her truth.

I wonder if, somewhere in her mind, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh does, too.

It's amazing how one can blind themselves from truth so easily for their perceived benefit. mobeau69 Sep 2018 #5

I would say she supports him 100%. GW Bush called the senators to pressure them to vote for Kavanaugh. She is one of "them"...in other words a lost cause.

"Estes Kavanaugh served as an assistant to George W. Bush from 1996 through 1999, during his tenure as Governor of Texas and his presidential campaign in 2000. When Bush became President in January 2001, Estes Kavanaugh took the position of Personal Secretary to the President; she served in that position through 2004.

Estes Kavanaugh was Director of Special Projects at the George W. Bush Presidential Foundation from 2005 to 2009, and then Media Relations Coordinator at the George W. Bush Presidential Center from 2009 to 2010."

Who had heard the angry "I'm not an alcoholic" denials too many times.

was weird... she was leaning away from Kav but kept twisting her neck so she always faced him.

She had the look I've seen before from dogs that I've rescued from bad owners that beat them

That is exactly how I described her. I felt sorry for her and a bit angry that she stays and provides cover for Brett.
