Senate Judiciary Committee Considers Nominations to Ninth Circuit

Judicial Confirmations

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a confirmation hearing to consider four of President Trump’s judicial nominees including Eric Miller and Bridget Bade for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The Senate was in recess at the time of the hearing until after the 2018 midterm elections. Two Republicans questioned the nominees: Senators Orrin Hatch and Mike Crapo. No Democrats were in attendance.
