Merkley Reveals Secret Trump Administration Plan to Create Border Crisis.

Jan 17

'Leaked memo shows deliberate plans to create a border crisis.

Tonight, in a bombshell NBC News report, I revealed a previously secret document that shows the Trump Administration deliberately plotting to create a crisis at the southern border. The memo, dated December 2017, details deliberate plans to implement a family separation policy as a deterrent to would-be asylum seekers and lays out strategies to increase detention of migrant children. Despite many statements by the President and senior political appointees to the contrary, this document proves that the administration was in fact intentionally and deliberately planning all along to separate families and create a crisis on the southern U.S. border.'>>>

As said, too much attention paid to shiny objects waved in front of our eyes, not enough scanning the wealth of news available free on line to keep up with what's going on.

children and parents for this, or any other, purpose is a dreadful indicator of what else they would use power for if not stopped.

Btw, I'm remembering when some, supposedly from that last big caravan who were supposedly still almost a month out from the Texas border and a couple weeks longer from the California border, actually showed up at San Diego a few days later, stormed the border throwing rocks, and were repelled with tear gas. I immediately suspected our own 21st Century American nazis were involved, of course.

that President Trump has "taken hostages" by removing migrant children from their parents when they illegally enter the U.S.

"One way to understand what's happened is that the president has taken hostages, essentially, in both the sort of metaphorical and literal sense -- 2,600 children separated from their parents through an act of the president and his administration, and now is using them as leverage to try to get a legislative solution favorable to his preferred policy goals," Hayes said.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I suggest House Dems all Murdoch and company and put them under oath. Fox has undermined our democracy for to long. Fox must be held accountable. They do not serve the public good.
