He has no experience leading an operation like this let alone one that is publicly accountable.
I remember the story of their first visit to the WH in which Jared asked how many of the staff would need to be replaced. Answer: All of them. Christie informed him of his legal obligation during the campaign to establish a transition plan. Trump didnt want to give up a dime so Christie raised money. Trump, even after the election, saw it as his money. Pence told a fantastic story on Inauguration Day about the Beachead Teams (a Romney idea) which clearly wasnt true.
These people have no idea.

(25,894 posts)I will also recommend the book The Fifth Risk by Michael Lewis. Not only will you get a remarkable overview of how truly dedicated many civil servants are, but the depiction of the Trump administration's ignorance of the many agencies is mind-boggling.
