Dear President Trump,

For many years you've been telling us you're the master of the deal. Well, now is the time to make the deal of your life. It's time to negotiate your resignation.

We know you'll drive a hard bargain, but people are exhausted, and there's a good chance they'd cut you a good deal just to put an end to this chapter. The number of Americans supporting your removal from office is climbing fast. Many would probably welcome your departure. Isn't this the best moment to bargain?

Almost three years since your election, most Americans haven't been convinced of your greatness, no matter how often you proclaim it. Still, right now you could possibly negotiate immunity for all the crimes you may or may not have committed as president, in exchange for returning to private life.

Your former Trump organization vice president, Barbara Res, says she thinks you might resign rather than face possible removal from office. Who would want to end the presidency by forcible removal? That would be a true disgrace -- one of your favorite words.

Instead, you could walk out on your own terms and get back to your first love: real estate.

If Trump knows well that his only options are the Oval Office or a prison cell, which do you think he will choose? Indefinitely.

If he agrees to leave based on the above...

Then the other side is this - No Deal, he must face justice. The GOP is a strong law and order party, let there be law and order.
He did the crimes so he can do the time.

would be enormous.

This is eclipsing the failures of the US Football League, Plaza Hotel, Trump Air, Trump Television City, the casino "empire" and all the rest, none of which he admitted to, and even found something to brag about in each of them.

He does have a habit of just walking away from things that aren't going well, though, and if he finds bragging rights somewhere he could look for an out.

I am not amenable to any “deal” that doesn’t include at least 10 years of federal prison time for Donald and his three children-with-Ivana, resignation of his entire administration, repayment of all tax dollars used to take Trump golfing, a complete list of his contacts in Russian intelligence and organized crime, revocation of citizenship and immediate deportation for Melania Trump, and the forfeiture of all Trump-owned real estate.

In exchange, we’ll ask the State of New York to let him serve his state prison sentence concurrent with his federal sentence.
