Statement from Kayleigh McEnany Regarding Today's Supreme Court Ruling on Abortion

STATEMENTS & RELEASES

Statement from the Press Secretary Regarding Today’s Supreme Court Ruling on Abortion
LAW & JUSTICE

Issued on: June 29, 2020

In an unfortunate ruling today, the Supreme Court devalued both the health of mothers and the lives of unborn children by gutting Louisiana’s policy that required all abortion procedures be performed by individuals with admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. States have legitimate interests in regulating any medical procedure—including abortions—to protect patient safety. Instead of valuing fundamental democratic principles, unelected Justices have intruded on the sovereign prerogatives of State governments by imposing their own policy

Those unelected judges are great as long as His Lardship gets to appoint them and they decide cases the way he wants them to.

Interfering with state governments' prerogatives? Like requiring people to wear masks?

LOL!

Kayleigh McEnemy can ESAD.

Then tell your boss to wear a mask and tell the base to vaccinate their grubby children.

No divorce, you had to go to Mexico to get one, No credit cards and if you did get one for business as a single woman, you lost it when you divorced and your ex got to keep it if you had him on your card. If you were abused (I was) and called the police they did nothing to the abuser, it was the same no matter where you lived. To buy a house you had to have the permission of your husband. If you wanted to use a contraceptive you had to have the permission of your husband, if not married no contraceptive. If you were divorced the bank would not give you a loan, having good credit meant nothing. If you were divorced and had to go to work you could not deduct child care. Abortions were done in back ally's or some dirty room. That was life when I was a young woman. Most of this happened to me.

Sure, with a wig, a dress and lots and lots of makeup, (how many pounds does hers weigh?) you can make it look good, but how, just how do they get it to hear and speak?

McINANEy is some sort of sentient crap. There should be a study on that.

13. Abortion patients admitted to hospital in LA: less than one per year

The law Requiring abortion doctors to have hospital admission rights has nothing to do with health of patients. Abortions are so safe in Louisiana that fewer than one abortion patient per year must be admitted to a hospital. That statistic is cited in the Supreme Court opinion. Hospitals will not grant abortionists admission rights so the law is just a disguised way to outlaw abortions. It has nothing to do with patient health.

If this was a normal world, regular OBGYN physicians would provide abortion care along with checkups and delivering babies. But of course they can’t, so those doctors that do abortions get pigeonholed into doing one thing. Brave souls indeed. They drive hundred of miles, or even fly, to the clinics they service because they can’t live in the community - you know, they get those death threats to them and their families (including little kids) from the “pro-lifers”.
Admitting privileges is granted to doctors who have a steady number of patients admitted to the hospital. Since these doctors can’t have a regular practice, or live, in the community (and abortion patients are virtually never admitted) they don’t qualify for admitting privileges. The “pro-lifers” with their death threats, make sure of it.
