Army general pulled rank, forced sex: prosecutors

Brigadier General Jeffrey Sinclair, who is based at Fort Bragg, is accused of 26 violations of military law. They include forcible sodomy, wrongful sexual conduct, possessing pornography while deployed and conduct unbecoming of an officer.

It goes beyond institution. It's a national pastime. Our society glorifies Imperialism and its resulting conflict. The violent and power mad world of a General officer is indeed fraught with plenty of opportunities for abuse, plenty of power to cover them up. and a pretty reliable good-ole-boy system for perpetuating and minimizing these acts.

Obviously this creep needs to be imprisoned. But the first step to stopping this is a long hard look in the mirror.

As a vet who served his time I know some officers were good people, but I think many were just GOLD BRICKING TURDS. Plus they were to stupid to find a better job. I got out and spent 34 with University of California doing research for DOE.
