to me and felt comfortable enough with my white face to tell me that he worked as an engineer in copper mines in Chile, but was out of the country until Allunde was murdered (which he was, although they "sold" the murder as suicide). As soon as he told me, I told him to go to Hell and moved to the other end and other side of the train car. This happened more than 42 years ago and I still have it seared in my mind. I didn't hesitate in speaking, as even though I was but 22, I knew just who my enemies were.
