Carolla vs Newsom: 'What's Wrong With Blacks and Latinos?'

(From the 3/6 Young Turks show) "California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom had a heated discussion about socioeconomic inequality in America with unlikely source on Friday: comedian and radio personality Adam Carolla.

Carolla invited the Lieutenant Governor onto his radio program to discuss Newsom's new book, "Citizenville: How to Take the Town Square Digital and Reinvent Government." (Source: Huffington)

Adam Carolla had a disagreement with Gavin Newsom on his radio show. On the topic of economic inequality and poverty, Newsom said that about 50% of black and latino families didn't have access to a checking account. "What's wrong with them?" asked Carolla repeatedly. Was Carolla just trying to be funny, or was he trying to make a point? Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.

Looks like Corolla is going to be Rush Limbaugh's replacement when Rush either kicks the bucket or is dumped for having no advertisers. I see how he is cleverly positioning himself by taking aim at poor blacks and Latinos.

this just confirms it.

I can't really muster the strength to be outraged though. I hear crap like this morning, noon and night. This type of ignorance is en vogue again. If you dare to challenge it, you can expect an angry rant about "political correctness."

I lived in LA for 30 years. This idiot was on local radio station KROQ for several years where his principal claim to fame was his character "Mr. Bertram". He wasn't funny then and he isn't funny now. I bet KROQ is glad to be rid of him.
