There are more than a few that believe the job of the media is to sell, sell, sell.

They also believe Republicans are good for business and Democrats are idealistic losers.

The approval ratings of politicians are always biased against them because (1) a percentage will consider them too liberal, (2) a percentage will consider them too conservative, and (3) a percentage will consider them "just right." When groups (1) and (2) are unfairly grouped together as a group that disapproves and then weighed against group (3), it's remarkable if a politician manages to achieve a simple majority.

It's like stomping on the rights of the Nazi party or the KKK. They don't care about the rights of anyone else and are threatening to others so nobody really gives a damn when the government harasses them. And the dead Benghazi horse has been beaten for so long by FOX and FOX only that it's perceived as what it is, lies and propaganda trying to make something out of nothing. And the AP story, Well lets just say the media has a librul bias so fug'em.

This is a no brainer and it's been said about a cajillion times, but I am so glad that the president doesn't read DU. If it was up to some of the more "special" posters here, he would have fired Holder for the AP situation (an epic overreaction) and just said "so what" and not said anything at all about the IRS scandal (an under reaction).

win national office. I used to think it was merely counterproductive that they always seemed to be at odds with the leadership of the Democratic Party, but I've come to the conclusion that it's something much more sinister. I truly believe, that THEY believe they have to burn down the party, and replace it with some kind of Chavista type mess. Of course, if that happened, our party would be flailing about like Occupy, with no leadership, too many issues to tackle, and no real destination. Some adult has to be in charge.

I, too, am thrilled that the president doesn't take his marching orders from DU. If he did visit here, he'd find out that some "on the left" think his supporters are "stupid people".
