Not for the meter feeding itself. My understanding is they are a bunch of libertarian jerks or is "libertarian jerk" redundant?

"So called public servants"

"This group of people calling themselves the City of Keene"

Saying that a big box store has more rights to impose their rules on private property than the government does on public land.

Libertarian dbag.

stream for the city. The point of parking meters is to encourage people to move their cars within a reasonable amount of time, so that new people can park there and patronize the stores nearby. Parking meters are to help the local stores and businesses by churning the prospective customers who drive to get there.

By feeding the meters, it doesn't hurt the city's revenue stream, but it does hurt the businesses because new potential customers are discouraged from visiting the stores if they can't park within a reasonable short walking distance from the shop.

Parking meters are an absolute scam in Riverside Ca., clearly designed to create parking tickets. The merchants hate them.
