These are very important videos. Just from looking I got a lot of ideas. I think this is a watershed event. It is different and more powerful than anything that has happened before because it is massive, instantaneous and is happening in all Turkish cities. The police seemed to have been given permission to brutalize the crowds. They are beating men and women and just random people on the street who are doing nothing. This is a blatant war between rulers and The People. The nice mask is off and we see now how the Neoliberal State will deal with us here in the U.S.

It looks like a push back coming from youth. Most of the victims are young. This is the criminalization of youth who have not much of a future, but they want one, desperately. How could so many rise up so quickly if they weren't already fed up to the max. This is an explosion of youth that is a surplus population and they want a future that they are being denied.

This also shows the importance of having our own media to tell the real story. Videos don't lie for the most part, unless you have staged the pulling down of a statue or other event. We The People are out there in the squares and streets of Turkey. These people will not easily go back to their homes and continue to take what is dished out to them......."Please, sir, can I have some MORE?"

the man saying he was just getting bread is heart breaking.. He is so frustrated with the stupidity of the police. His anger and anguish is so real.
