She's blaming the wrong persons. It's the dumb parents who name their kids stupid names sometimes, and that isn't good for the kid when they attend school. We have misspelling of names of how we used to spell them. I think it's ridiculous. Children pick up on the easiest way to make fun of someone, and your name is fair game to them.

I have a friend who's kid is in college. One mother got mad at the teacher because she pronounced her daughters name. The name was Le-a. The teacher called her Lea. The mother said her name was Le"dash"a. Stupid.

And yes, I meant you as well. By your lights, that should go for usernames as well?????
