Recently Chris taught me the difference between what he calls "Identity Politics" versus true Socioeconomic Progress: When some troll tries to distract you with Identity Politics, racism, sexism, religion, man-bites-dog, trayvon v zimmerman, gay marriage, immigrants, candidate personality or anything else based on WHO YOU ARE rather than WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, ignore the troll and keep your eyes on the prize:

Failed Capitalism must be replaced by American Socialism. All other issues are distractions. Sure some such as abortion and birth control are extremely important, but even birth control battles distract away from the real war, which is Class War.

So that means you must ignore virtually every aspect of every political campaign speech of both democrats and republicans. Only topic we should listen for in campaign speeches is WAR ON POVERTY, and surprise surprise, that is the one subject neither party mentions, as politicians are trolls trying to distract you.
