1. The media is controlled by big business.

Big business does not want to sacrifice a cent of profit, so most of them will continue to sell the idea that global warming is controversial. As businesses begin making money off the disasters, they will come around, though it will be too late.

Talk about disconnect.

United States Senate
Washington, DC 20510

Dear (name deleted),

Thank you for writing me about President Obama's climate action plan, I appreciate hearing from you on the matter.

Across the nation Republicans, Independents, and Democrats are united on one thing: that increasing jobs and improving the economy should be government's top priority. Climate change barely registers as an issue. So what does the President focus on? Climate change. Give him credit for courage.

But killing jobs and hurting the economy are exactly the opposite of what Americans want. His proposed policies amount to a national energy tax - they would impede the XL Pipeline, make electricity more expensive, drive away jobs, and contribute to keeping the U.S. dependent on foreign energy. Such stridency is especially odd now, when climate-change alarmists are baffled by the 15-year plateau in temperatures - no recorded warming since 1998 - despite greater greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Texas energy companies employ more than 200,000 people and produce about 27% of our nation's refining capacity, 28% of our nation's natural gas, and 60% of our nation's chemicals - Texas essentially fuels the nation. At the same time, the air Texans breathe today is substantially cleaner than just a decade ago. Our State has proven that we can protect the environment while creating strong American jobs, and Washington needs to follow that example.

I will continue to fight to ensure the President does not end-run Congress with policies that would kill jobs and further damage the economy.

Thank you for sharing your views with me. Please feel free to contact me in the future about any issue important to your family. It is an honor to serve you and the people of Texas.

For Liberty,

Senator Ted Cruz

I meant to show the disconnect on Ted Cruz' part and the ties to big business. Texas is really suffering from the heat and drought, but this is the kind of dumb-asses people here keep electing.

4. The scary thing is: Do those bankrolling the climate-change-is-a-hoax hoax really believe that?
Sat Jul 20, 2013, 02:58 PM

We know it's a lot of steer manure, but I don't believe for a minute that all of the corporate big shots are as stupid as they sound. Their pet politicians, like Senator Imhofe and Mrs. Bachmann, perhaps really are that stupid, but many of those behind the hoax themselves know that they are lying.

The best weapon in the climate-change-is-a-hoax hoaxer's arsenal is the perception, created by the corporate hoax, that there is widespread disagreement about climate change among scientists. That was discussed in the video. There is a solid consensus among scientists that climate change is real and that it is caused by excessive use of fossil fuels.

The other weapon in the corporate hoaxer's arsenal is bought politicians. As long as the Citizens United ruling continues to suppress real democracy, that will be the case. Under those circumstances, it will never matter what the people think. If they can keep elections close enough to steal and keep corrupt or stupid congressmen in power, they will continue to realize their of short term profits in the present at the expense of the long term health of the world we in which we live.

6. The emissions and fixes remind me of causing the atmosphere to liquefy. Could a change happen
Sat Jul 20, 2013, 04:39 PM

all of a sudden? Is the atmosphere becoming heavy with particles and heavy gases? Is rising sea level partial pressures rising, lifting the oceanic surface not only with ice melt but with heavy atmosphere? Could there be rising gases from the oceanic floors infiltrating every level of water; a soda pop?

The link below is secure. Just keyboard in," Phase Change Triple Point".

Could a change happen all at once? Mankind seems to be way ahead of ourselves. The Earth may get rid of us sooner than later.
