Toxic US weapons blamed for Iraq's birth-defect 'Hiroshima'

RussiaToday·Published on Jul 22, 2013

More than a decade after US led forces invaded Iraq - there is a legacy of horrific birth defects. Scientists blame the weapons used by the US military. Fallujah is the best known example, the number affected there is 14 times higher than in Hiroshima after an atomic bomb was dropped on it in the Second World War. But RT's Lucy Kafanov was the first to take an in-depth look at the lesser-known extent of the human suffering in Najaf. READ MORE: http://on.rt.com/qpgvh7

When a woman's first words after giving birth are not "is it a boy or girl?" but "Is it okay?" then those weapons should not have been used. I firmly believe that the US owes reparations for this.

were there due to our corrupt government, plus they had a choice to sign up. The women who gave birth had no choice at all. Blind patriotism makes one blind.

K&R

WMDs laced/built through and through with depleted uranium: the weapon that keeps on killing and maiming long after the initial detonation. Cancer and birth defects until the end of time. Shame on the MIC. Shame on the war profiteers and warmongers. Shame on the American people for allowing this to continue on and on and on and on. What is wrong with our minds? And of course one wonders how this is indeed affecting our soldiers as their children are born. That's one statistic we'll never be allowed to know, I'm sure.

Articles that claimed that men returning from Iraq did have children with birth defects. That they and the children had cancers. That their wives complained that their semen burned.

There is a research paper with Doug Rokke here: http://www.iacenter.org/images/du_snafu.pdf

From May, 2005: http://www.truth-out.org/archive/item/54297:depleted-uranium-horror-from-america

From Project censored: http://www.projectcensored.org/top-stories/articles/4-high-uranium-levels-found-in-troops-and-civilians/

The problem is that most have a really short memory; unfortunately, mine isn't. I sometimes wish it were.
