fucking nutcase. Western Iowa is decidedly rightwing, but eastern Iowa is much more blue. Trust me, there are plenty of good, sane, left-thinking folks here.

Every state has a few rightwing wackos floating around. I mean, Minnesota is a great state (and blue) but they've got fruitcake Bachman. Wisconsin has Walker. The blue East Coast states aren't immune from rightwing wackos either.

So just a friendly request to not judge the people of an entire state based on one nutcase.

Thank you!

Both Iowa and New Hampshire are mostly white and really do not represent the country as a whole.

Yes, I know that are Iowans who are aware of poverty and discrimination the minority issues. But too many, like that idiot up here, probably have never met a non-WASP person.

I would also like to add that in Presidential elections since 1980, only in 1984 and 2004 did Iowa go to the Republican. In 2004, it was by only 10,000 votes.

And Iowa has an excellent history on civil rights. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa We were third in the nation to make gay marriage legal and have been ahead of the curve on many other issues.

What's the cause of someone doing such a dastardly deed, if it is happening as you contend? Is it the few bucks these mules are gonna get if they survive their trek? Is it because these desperate folks just wanna see if they can defeat our own Berlin Wall complex? No. It's because there's a DEMAND for this stuff on our side of the border. But beyond that, it's importation is seen as a threat to the BIG Pharma that's rushing to get over-priced "perscription" weed into the marketplace.
Take away this incentive ( Drop the stupid "Drug war&quot and Jose will cease to risk life and limb to haul this stuff to it's anxious customers.

I hafta wonder if King's demented notions aren't the result of him ingesting too much GM corn.

I just cannot see how people keep voting for these idiots....even IF I were remotely politically aligned with them, the sheer embarrassment factor alone of him, Gomhert, Bachmann, Broun and the rest should at least register somewhat with sane people....I guess it is true, to be "Republican" in this age you have to be insane.

"You get one valedictorian per class per year," he said on AC360. "Every night there are dozens and scores of people that are smuggling drugs across our border. I've been down there multiple times. I've sat along the border at night."

Noting the officers he's met while on the border, King claimed that his assertion is factual.

"This isn't something made up in thin air," he said. "I've seen it with my eyes and watched the data and video that support what I say, and the longer this dialogue goes, the more the American people will understand what I'm saying is factually correct."

Dear Honorable Representative,Greetings.
Your disrespect of hardworking who come to make you rich for pennies on the dollar is well beneath the position which has been granted you by the hardworking people of this nation.
Beware for this position is only temporary and based upon the expediency of which you do your job.
So,how many bills have you passed? How many presidential appointee's have you confirmed or even denied?
Have you done your job to the best of your abilities to uphold the laws and defend the constitution as you swore you would when you accepted the job?

The answer above to all the questions seems to be no.
Would you like to file a rebuttal, this is your right.
I would like to read what your reasoning is for standing in front of camera's and reading statements which you did not write instead of Working to progress and commit the business of the people of the united states of America and for which you willingly received benefits and monetary compensation.
Mostly a letter describing why you need this job is what i would like to see because i am pretty sure that i know the answer of why you refuse to do your job.
Yet you demean and humiliate those work hard just to survive and care for their loved ones while making your cronies filthy rich in the process.

These people that you apparently despise do not have the strength to carry 75 pound sacks of marijuana because they can barely carry enough water in the 110+ degree heat and survive yet many do manage while carrying their children as well.
Have you no shame?
The marijuana that comes into this country comes instead to tiny little airports which you voted in spite of budget sequestration to keep open at yet again the expense of hard working Americans.
You know the airport, the one you use to fly in your private jet at taxpayer expense so that you will not have to sully yourself by sharing the same oxygen with those working class people.
Guess what is in those crates coming out of the private jets?
Spoilers! It is not American jobs!
