we invest in war--constantly and yet these children are our future but WE as a society do not want to invest in them. It is to our benefit that they get that education and get the skills needed to keep this country running. The fools at the top, the Mr. Corporation types whine that they have to seek foreign shores for their skilled workers. Even if it is just an excuse to get cheaper labor we need to make sure that our children HERE have every chance to compete with foreign students for the same jobs.

The problem is, all of this higher education leads to too much questioning of our politicians and system of government. Something that only elite "snobs," as Rick Santorum would say, would want happening. And how else could we be able to push our young people to enlist as soldiers, with no other options in the job market.
