And St. John the Divine Cathedral in NYC and begun in 1892 is still under construction with a long ways to go.

Talk about job security — the workers there have it.

genius/generosity/vision it takes to design something you know you will never see completed, may never be completed, and is just a grand dream? My friend brought me back a souvenir and told me the story and how the people of Barcelona revere it. It is an amazing achievement.

Saw the Gaudi masterpiece this summer. I appreciated his creativity.
I recommend a visit to the city it is known for architecture and is impressive in may ways.
FYI accent is on last syllable Gow DEE if I remember correctly.
