Non sibi sed patriae is a Latin phrase meaning "Not for self, but for country". The phrase is inscribed over the chapel doors at the United States Naval Academy and some war memorials.

(1,309 posts)But it should never be open if it is not guarded. This memorial belongs to all the people and it must be protected. As a Vietnam veteran, I say tell Congress to vote a permanent appropriation so it is always guarded and attended to. While I agree with the demands made in this film, I do not feel that we veterans should be treated any better or worse than Occupy. If they were shut out at 10 , we should be too. The freedom to assemble should not be abridged,
What makes me most angry is that this will turn into a PR stunt for Teapartiers who I am sure hate Occupy and any peoples movement not funded by the Kochs.
