Papa Cruz is from Cuba. Nothing about Cuba, but so is Rubio. A friend of mine noted Cruz was one of the wealthy who left Cuba. The way things were in those days gave rise to revolutions.

My friend's opinion was that such as his father, came from a mindset that did not believe in the equality of mankind, period. They, like the Confederacy, find the Founders ideas wrong. That people are assigned by birth to be slaves, just like some of the Greek philosophers said. This is anti-American.
