We used to have a silly law like that here in California, of all places. Of course, in order to enforce it the police would have to watch what happens in people's bedrooms, and so far not even the NSA would go that far toward invading one's personal privacy. So, I never heard of any one being charged under the statute. When the state legislature got around to repealing the law, the only legislator I heard defending it was a right wing state senator who was later appointed Lieutenant Governor by some third rate matinee idol who was then our Governor. It's bad enough that American right wing morons are among the most sexually repressed people in the world, but it is just ridiculous that they attempt to sexually oppress everybody else. Since they could never effectively enforce such a law, we who are embued with common sense (and, by the way, that includes most sober conservatives) just laugh.
