The Young Turks: Woman Fainting During Obama Speech

"The most memorable moment from President Obama's long speech on the problems with Healthcare.gov happened when a pregnant woman in a red dress nearly fainted in front of the entire country. The White House has identified that woman as Karmel Allison, a computational biologist from San Diego. "This happens when I talk too long," Obama said as the people standing around her moved to help her. Allison was escorted off the stage and walked away as the audience applauded her...".* Of course conspiracy theorists are claiming this was all staged. And Barack Obama handled it brilliantly. TYT apparently did not like the speech. I cannot speak for that since I did not see it all.

I have been in more than one situation when I've done that very thing. And no, alcohol was not involved at any time. But I've fainted on more than one occasion in my life. There's nothing you can do about it and the doctor's have never had an answer. I think it was hyperventilating, which was where the doctors' hypotheses ended.

The RW nutjobs are just assholes.

She was standing too long and may have locked her knees or suffered a bout of postural hypotension.

because their closed captions are atrocious - they are the worst
I've seen youtube vids of Bollywood dance numbers with fake subtitles that are more accurate
Sorry - but this has been bugging me for a long time
