Maddow Uses Daily Show Segments to Bash GOP for Abandoning All Pretense of Outreach

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/maddow-uses-daily-show-segments-to-bash-gop-for-abandoning-all-pretense-of-outreach/

Rachel Maddow is a big fan of The Daily Show (even if she disagrees with Jon Stewart from time to time), and on Thursday night she was absolutely floored at how one of the comedy show’s correspondent bits got a local Republican official fired, using it as an opportunity to take on the GOP’s outreach problem.

Jon Stewart, Samantha Bee et all are on a roll! They are spot on!

Thank you, loved Rachel's take down.

..I got an e-mail update from either DFA or PCCC. Then again it could have been from Move-On. I get so many, its hard to keep track.

But to my point: TEXAS IS GOING TO BE BLUE WITH A CAPITAL "B".

According to this little update I read this morning, the outreach efforts with ALL minorities and women is going off the charts. Dem's are out registering R's about 6:1. A comment from some R duffus in the article confessed that R's are likely going to be "out maneuvered" in many aspects of outreach and GOTV efforts.

I am feeling really good about what could possibly happen there next year. Wendy Davis has put a fire under the seats of many people there--namely women.

From what I read I have become convinced that the "ground game" in Texas by Dems is in full swing. By the time the election rolls around, we could possibly see some numbers that could amaze the most pessimistic observer of Texas politics.

By I can't wait. I am looking forward to it. I expect we will all be cheering when we see a new governor in Texas with a "D" by their name.
