I now try to catch Rachel Maddow and the Ed Show when I can. I haven't watched the news regularly since Bushy senior was in office. However I have watched the Daily Show and Colbert for many years. I watched it with Craig Kilborn as host and was a little put off when John Stewart took over. Glad I was wrong.

12. Rachel Maddow and the Ed Show are mostly commentary. They don't have a set of reports backing them

8. Speaking as someone who came from the "withouts"

And having been personally fucked over by so many corporations to have a decent home and car, I'm happy as punch to see some of the "with's" get whats karmically coming to them even if it's a drop in the bucket compared to how they've fucked over the working class for years. I cannot even imagine a life with enough money to be an investor, banker or even take a nice vacation. My birthright, my bloodline predetermined via racist nonsense as a child to the banking system's ways of fucking over anyone without a gold credit line out of more money, to two specific companies who sold me total lemon vehicles then lawyered their way out of compensating me for it at all, (I have to exonerate GM about that, good cars and no BS from their divisions) to the banks who charged me fees for not having an unobtainable minimum balance as a struggling college student, to so called "christian" americans who refused me food and shelter, banished me as a teen because they knew I was homosexual, to Bushco, whose economic policies decimated american jobs and made it even harder for us "without's" to survive or have a decent home. Even coming from someone who likely was fed on silver spoon I'll never know, I appreciate the dual fisted F.U.!

9. What really confuses me (NOT! we all know the elites have their own "laws")
Fri Oct 25, 2013, 09:59 AM

is how the "corporate person" that is JP Morgan Chase, did NOT get FINED $13 Billion for the atrocities they committed (or their purchased corporate person Bear Stearns, committed...is it legal to purchase "persons?&quot .

Instead, they reached a "negotiated settlement" for their CRIMES (even though it was a civil, not a criminal trial , as it should have been).

I am positive that if this were a person, not a corporate person whose money is their form of speech, the (real) person (unless he/she were a member of the 1%....Jamie Dimon) would have been prosecuted criminally and FINED an amount that would have reflected the enormity of their theft.

Pretty fucking confusing isn't it? At least it allows the 1% to avoid criminal charges or meaningful fines that may discourage similar theft in the future, or as most average "persons" face...incarceration.
