Virginia Gubernational Debate on 10/24/13 (C-Span link)

This is the first debate I've seen of McAuliffe & Cuccinelli -- McAuliffe was impressive. He outclassed his opponent in every way. I was struck by the difference in their eyes; McAuliffe's seemed to reflect goodness while Cuccinelli's, for many probable reasons, had the deer-in-the-headlights look.

I liked everything McAuliffe said & I'm glad he was astute at segueing his answers into information about Cuccinelli's beliefs & background, because, as it turned out, there were no questions about anything that would expose what a rat he is. Cuccinelli has the same backward teabagger beliefs/agenda for women; he sued the University of Virginia, costing the university $600k; he took a $100k campaign contribution from a state energy company in return for Attorney General Cuccinelli's having denied thousands of Virginians money they had lost to the same energy company. And much more.
