Rafael Cruz Has Frightening Delusions of Grandeur For Christian Rule in America

A video re-surfaced on social media last week of Ted Cruz' father, Rafael, explaining how the Bible gives Christians to rule every aspect of society. The video shows just how dangerous the delusions of grandeur can be. Rafael Cruz sounds like he wants a Christian theocracy in America, something our founders warned us about.

It will get the most play around the internet with a short, concise clip.

This eloquent, intelligent dude scares me. A lot. He apparently views as a given that little Teddy is the second coming of King David. He's not so much drawing comparisons as saying that God (what or whoever that is) told him that his son is King David, Jr. and that the wealth of the wicked -- i.e., all of us -- is being stored for Teddy's use, when he assumes the mantel of kingship.

If the dude were mumbling in an alleyway, amid heaps of offal and refuse, I'd just shake my head sadly, give him a couple of bucks for coffee, and be on my way. But he's talking to a crowd of convinced, deluded, believers who are absolutely willing to put their own money up for the cause -- because, after all, if they do so, they will be given a share of the wealth of the wicked when the constitutional government is smashed and Teddy introduces the new theocracy.

I suppose I could make it much shorter, but I like to err on the side of depth. We have too many three-minute nuggets of "not much" out there in the media verse already.

prophecy.
If this was not such serious shit, harming people as it goes, and with the intent to harm more - it would make a great cage match.

As 2016 nears expect Ted Cruz to write his version of Mein Kampf.

Jesus:

"Neither be ye called masters: For one is your Master, even Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." Matthew 23: 10 - 12

"Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so it shall NOT be among you: but whosoever will be great among you shall be your minister: and whosoever of you will be the chiefest shall be servant of all." Mark 10: 42 - 44

"Sell all that ye have, and give alms to the poor; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in heaven that faileth not...for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Luke 12:33-34

"If I, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet, for I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.: John 13: 13 - 15

"Ideology makes it unnecessary for people to confront individual issues on their individual merits. One simply turns to the ideological vending machine, and out comes the prepared formula. When these beliefs are fused with apocalyptic fervor, ideas become weapons, and with dreadful results." ~Daniel Bell
