Lou Reed's Ode to Limbaugh and the GOP

Back after the Newt takeover of Congress in the '90s, Lou decided there was only one thing he could think of more repulsive than the GOP, so he wrote a song about his disgust for the party including it:

No so much for Lou, but for his wife, Laurie. Oh, she was my muse, my goddess back when I was in college and first heard about her. Then saw her.

Laurie, I send you my love and deepest condolences. Safe passage Lou and my love to all who are in sorrow right now.

Thank you for that nice remembrance of Lou, Ad Hynkel.
