1. They don't consider the poor......

...because in the Capitalist system the poor are a critical part of the equation. Without the poor Capitalism can't function at all. There must be a continual perception of ''scarcity'' and a constant struggle to just get by on the part of the larger portion of the populace, in order to keep us all occupied with survival. And no time to stop and think about why we're having to live this way.

Still, we keep on trying to fix the symptoms -- the way things ''appear.'' Which is why nothing ever works. All the while KNOWING that the problems lie much deeper. Our government is now available only to those who can afford an audience with the potentates. The corruption is now in the open and has become ''the norm.''

We have built our society upon a financial foundation of shifting sand. Where petty thieves are punished and mega-thieves are given raises and yachts. Bought by enslaving future generations yet unborn, with debt. We now find that the major thefts happening in the country occur at the Federal Reserve Bank, committed by the directors. Yet no burglar is shot, no robber is tazed, not even an alarm is sounded except at the counting houses on the stock exchanges.

- So they can keep the Ponzi going.....

it's the sinners, devil, evilness of "them." In capitalism it's the poor, "them," and frankly today, getting to be the poor + the middle class (which is becoming nonexistent.)

Democracy in the US. LOL. And today, the right to vote is even trying to be eliminated for some.

And, in terms of $$$$$, often R=D.

Eventually, the Ponzi will end when the really wealthy start to devour each other to stay afloat as the feeding chain cycle breaks. None can really believe this will hang together ad infinitum.

and Republicans have far more in common with each other than they do with their Congressmen and/or Senators. Until the petty bickering between the two parties ends this will be the status quo.

We must stop thinking the Republicans are the enemy, they aren't. Until we learn who really is the enemy we can't defeat them, we can't even slow them down.

Our ire should be directed at right wing, politically active industrialists and Wall Street financiers. That's the enemy.

The politicians are just their stooges.

When a politician is caught taking a bribe, why even bother jailing the politician? It should be enough to put him out of a job. Ah, but the wealthy, elitist assholes who bribed him contributed to his campaign. Throw them to the lions.

Where Cenk landed.

He didn't just touch a third rail by talking about money buying laws in Washington on his television show. He rode that rail, and was fired. You've got to respect the fact he stuck to his principles.
