Alan Colmes radio show: Charles Ogletree Sets The Record Straight On Derrick Bell - video/audio

Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree is highlighted on the viral tape of Derrick Bell and Barack Obama, heard saying, “Of course we hid this throughout the 2008 campaign. I don’t care if they find it now.” But Ogletree was joking, and the crowed laughed along with him. On radio Friday night Ogletree spoke about his friend, Dr. Bell, and pointed out that Barack Obama was never in one of his classes. Both Barack and Michelle Obama did, however, study with Ogletree.

I'm wondering if you know that PBS Frontline showed this exact same video in their special on then candidate Obama in 2008. ???

First of all, the video is innocuous. I can't for the life of me figure out what it might be deemed worthy of hiding. Secondly, it's old news.

I would really appreciate it if you'd reach out and correct this in the media. Perhaps you never said those words; that wouldn't come as a big surprise in these current times. But if you did, please address the fact that PBS Frontline included this video in their 2008 piece.

I know you understand the webs the Republicans try to weave around this president to trip him up, and it is incumbent upon us to keep on top of the attacks de jour on the president.

Until more White people come out, may even conservative Whites come out in support of Bell will people start to care. Right now you are just seen as someone hiding a secret. I completely see what Ogletree was saying and saw it from the get go. But Fox News has spun and conservatives are spinning this non-issue into an issue.
