It spoils the satire. It's like having a dude sitting next to you, elbowing you in the ribs every time he thinks it's funny.

Thank you very little. I can decide for myself when things are humorous, and I don't need some piped in lame laughter to tell me that.

This shit goes back to I Love Lucy.

Thank goodness I can still watch Dr. Strangelove without a laugh track.

Laugh tracks make comedy lame.

I have the Sledge Hammer series, and they give you the option to leave out the laugh track.
