http://www.democracynow.org - Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh joins us to discuss his new article casting doubt on the veracity of the Obama administration's claims that only the Assad regime could have carried out the chemical attacks in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta earlier this year. Writing in the London Review of Books, Hersh argues that the Obama administration "cherry-picked intelligence to justify a strike against Assad." The administration failed to disclose it knew Syrian rebels in the al-Nusra front had the ability to produce chemical weapons. Evidence obtained in the days after the attack was also allegedly distorted to make it appear it was gathered in real time.

and I do not want (but have) MIC and corporate rule...

We DO have choices.
THEY do not want us to realize this...."unless they are corporate picks, they are spoilers" meme....

Democratic Socialist (I), Bernie Sanders may run for POTUS.

He is not "a spoiler" if we unite and elect him.

His track record for Average Americans speaks for itself.

A peaceful revolution would be great.......

Except, we got the WMD on the table and removed...and we didn't invade and kills 100's of thousands of innocent civilians in the process.

But maybe the opposition has WMD, too. If so, Seymour may be proven right when they launch their next attack. I find it hard to believe that the opposition smuggled them into Syrian Republican Guard zones to then fire onto the civilian population centers. Wouldn't it have made more sense for them just to aim these weapons at the Republican Guard in the first place?

thoughts. And Iran? I would suggest they look at Syria, Libya, Iraq, etc before giving up too much--if they do indeed have WMD's (nukes) which I would imagine they do now--bought or produced. Will the US wisely switch to containment or start nuanced finessing toward war? I would bet the latter.
