Apollo 8 -- First Christmas Greetings from the Moon

I do need to quickly point out that the 'Blue Marble' full Earth image was from Apollo 15. Apollo 8 did capture an 'Earthrise' image, as did every Apollo mission.

I was 14 years old and was home alone putting together Christmas presents while the rest of my family was either in bed or at Midnight Mass.
